This quick and easy garlic bread recipe will make all your house smell like a Mediterranean restaurant.
It’s great for a quick dinner, as a starter, as tapas or side dish.
Garlic bread can also be grilled or toasted.
Ingredients
- 2 baguettes
- 100ml olive oil
- 50g butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Optional: 1/2 tsp dried basil
Prep
- Preheat the oven to 180 C and prepare a tray with a baking paper.
- Blitz all ingredients except the baguettes together.
- Cut the baguettes into (diagonal) slices, about 1cm thick.
- Coat each slice with the mixture using a kitchen brush or butter knife.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
