Barceloneta

Beautiful Mediterranean Square on the Barceloneta beach walk

Barceloneta is a quieter neighborhood of downtown Barcelona, built by fishermen on a strap of sand near the Old Port when they were moved from the area that is today the Ciutadella park.
Today the neighborhood is best known for its long strap of sandy beaches, and the W hotel (“Sail”) at its peak.
