As there weren&#8217;t any suitable meats, I&#8217;ve made a vegan paprikash with dry porcini mushrooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-base-background-color has-background is-horizontal is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-ef81e986 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"padding-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\">\n<div id=\"ingredients\" class=\"wp-block-group ingredients has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 smaller onion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 medium potato<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 carrot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 dl tomato sauce (or 2 spoons of tomato puree)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 dry (smoked) paprika<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp of ground paprika (sweet and\/or hot)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tsp vegeta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a handful of dry <a href=\"http:\/\/ifood.tv\/ingredients\/235403-how-to-use-dried-porcini-mushrooms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">porcini mushrooms<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2 tbsp frying oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>peppercorns, salt to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"prep\" class=\"wp-block-group method has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prep<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fry a small onion, some dry paprika and ground paprika.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add water, salt, vegeta, peppercorns and mushrooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dice potatoes and carrots and pour in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want, you can also add a bit of tomato paste.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cook until potatoes are soft, but not too soft (if too soft it will dissolve and add a flour-like texture to the stew).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Paprikash is a delicious paprika based stew that will lift your spirits and warm\u00a0 you up during cold winter days, though you can enjoy it whenever you prefer.
