The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sof\u00eda is one of Europe’s most prestigious modern and contemporary art museums, and the second most popular in Madrid.<\/p>\n
The museum features 21.000 works of modern and contemporary art divided in three collections:<\/p>\n
Together with the Museo Nacional del Prado<\/a> and the Thyssen-Bornemisza collection, Reina Sof\u00eda forms the so-called “Art Triangle” of Madrid.<\/p>\n The museum consists of two main buildings – the “old” or Sabatini building and the “new” or Nouvel building.
