It is also one of the most central and favorite open spaces of Barcelonans and their guests, with many monuments and attractions worth discovering. It is located just outside the <a href=\"https:\/\/resabi.com\/explorer\/barcelona\/gothic-quarter\/\">Gothic Quarter<\/a>, at the end of the main street &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/resabi.com\/explorer\/barcelona\/la-rambla\/\">La Rambla<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the highlights in and around Port Vell include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"bubble\" href=\"https:\/\/resabi.com\/explorer\/barcelona\/maritime-museum-barcelona-museu-maritim\/\">The medieval royal shipyard (nowadays Naval Museum)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Rambla del Mar &#8211;
