It is located on the central <a href=\"https:\/\/resabi.com\/explorer\/barcelona\/la-rambla\/\">Las Ramblas<\/a> street in the old town district. At the Boqueria market you can get all sorts of fruits and vegetables, fresh meat &amp; fish from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>With its smells, colors and sounds, the Boqueria market is a feast for all the senses.<\/p>\n<p>La Boqueria is one of the oldest markets in Barcelona. A market was first established at this place in the 12th century. In the 14th century a pig market existed here. It was first mentioned under the current name (supposedly referring to goats) in the 18th century. Foundations of the present day market were laid 1840.
