Since its opening 125 years ago, Barcelona Zoo is one of the city’s most popular attractions. The zoo is home to more than 5.000 animals and hundreds of species divided in several sections: Reptile, Aviary, Farm, Titi Monkey House, Gorillas, Palmeral and Aquarama.

The Barcelona Zoo is located at the central Ciutadella park.

Fun fact: The zoo was home to the only known albino gorilla in the world, called Floquet de Neu (Snowflake).
